Established in 2024 in the city of Glasgow,

Rigghill Burn is a project borne out of our love for Scotland and it’s most famous of exports - Whisky.

We’re not a space for in-depth whisky reviews, nor will you find too much in the way of nuanced tasting notes or lengthy prose. There’s already lots of great places online providing just that, our favourite by far being the always brilliant Dramface.

Our background is in art direction and photography so most of what we do draws from that perspective. We’re a place for a visual take on the industry as it currently stands… Heavily influenced by the hundreds of years of tradition that have gone before us, but equally informed by the ever changing present that is Whisky and Scotland.

We also help out in the running of the Southside Whisky Club A friendly, informal, non-profit club that meets once a month on Glasgow’s Southside.
