Southside Whisky Club #008 - Bonus Meeting / Wednesday 4th June - Mystery Malt
This ticket entitles you to entry to the eighth meeting of The Glasgow Southside Whisky Club.
The club aims to be a friendly, informal and inclusive space to meet like minded whisky folk and of course peruse, enjoy and discuss some fine whiskies along the way.
Wednesday 4th June
7:30pm
*Bonus meeting that is additional to our usual once monthly meetings!*
What will we be tasting? We don’t know!
Those talented siblings from Dornoch, The Thompson Brothers, have released their latest range of Independently Bottled Whiskies into the world this week, but with a slight catch… Housed in opaque, black glass, adorned only with a question mark, bottles of Mystery Malt will not reveal their contents until they’re popped and ready to share.
Will we get a 13 year old Bruichladdich, a 4 year old Lochlea, a 27 year old Inchgower? Who knows? One thing that we do know is that each of the 16 bottles that make up the full release have the Thompson Brothers seal of approval which is a bona fide guarantee of great whisky.
This will be a club-led night with no official representation from Thompson Brothers. We’ll open six bottles together and see what the Mystery Malt reveals to one and all! A big thanks to our friends at The Good Spirits Company for their help with this one.
£20
